Red Baron Web Design was recently featured on the side of Kris Stump's 5K Motorsports ASALM car number 15 at the Milwaukee Mile. Kris overcame some adversity during practice for the Jani-King 150 (August 25, 2007) and posted a top 10 starting position.
Kris Stump raced his way into contention during the first half of the 150-lap feature at one of the Midwest's most famous tracks. During the halfway break the 5K Motorsports crew noticed problems with the left side rubber on his Chevy Monte Carlo. They decided to change all four tires and start in the back of the pack per ASALMS rules for changing more than two tires. Kris would find himself in heavy traffic for the start of the second half of the race. He managed to work his way up to 17th place. "I am worn out. That car just stopped handling out there and it was a bear to drive at the end," said Kris Stump.
Veteran driver Kris Stump joins 5K Motorsports for 2007 after a successful run with Allen-Hock Motorsports. His fifth place finish last season in the Challenge Division standings included four top five finishes. This twenty-seven year old from Tipp City, Ohio is a threat to win at any track big or small.
